Kristin Chisholm (she/her) - Founder, Executive Director. Kristin is an avid animal lover and collector of cats. While she loves all the felines, she definitely has a type. She is drawn to chonky gingers, especially the older ones who develop medical issues. Or maybe the universe helps them find her. Kristin has made it her mission to raise funds to support local animal shelters since she can't adopt all of the cats herself. When she is not trying to raise money or working her IT day job, she spends her time going to the theater, playing French Horn, and planning murder mystery parties. Kristin hopes to come back in her next life as one of her cats. It seems like a pretty sweet gig.
Brian Chisholm (he/him) - President. When Brian married The Ginger Cat Project founder, Kristin, in 2005, he not only gained a wife, but an equally devoted cat. He immediately became The Grimace's "person", much to Kristin's chagrin. Brian would sit on the couch for hours not moving even if his legs were cramping just to not disturb the Grimace. Cats love Brian and Brian loves cats. This is evidenced by his extensive collection of cat themed t-shirts and hoodies. Brian spends his days working at a Boston hospital organization in IT and his nights spoiling his current cats,
Pedey, Jack, and Jill.
Kristin McFadden (she/her) - Secretary. Kristin is a registered nurse so being a life-saver is her superpower. Kristin has been around cats her whole life but is an equal opportunity animal lover. She grew up in a household with 3 cats (including a tripod!) and when she moved into her first apartment, the first thing she got was a cat named Mocha. Eventually she got her cat a cat. She rescued Gus when he was just a tiny kitten, and he spent the next 21 years living like a prince. Most recently she rescued a pair of "dumpster cats", Bodhi and Bala, who are now living their best lives with Kristin.
Amy O'Regan (she/her) - Treasurer. Amy is the only member of the Ginger Cat Project who does not have a cat. But that's only because she is highly allergic. She is an animal lover, though, and is all-in on the group's mission. In addition to 2 human children, she is the proud dog-mom to Daisy, a young at heart schnauzer. Amy is also no stranger to charity. She currently works as an Accounting and HR professional for a large non-profit organization. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, dominating escape rooms, and playing trivia.
